Robert Daniels - Founder and Chairman
A New York native who served in the U.S. Air Force, Robert has tended to the insurance needs of Southern California residents for over 30 years. Specializing in personal/commercial lines, he works directly with the world’s leading insurance companies. His experience as an agency principal has given Robert keen insights into the complexities of the insurance process. When not serving his valued clients, Robert enjoys spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.

Joseph Daniels - President and CEO
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Joseph offers more than 10 years of actuarial experience, with specialties in entertainment/target risk, niche large commercial, and private client service. He runs the day-to-day operations of the business, offering personalized, individual attention to clients in every walk of life, as well as to high-net-worth clients, from celebrities to entrepreneurs and other leaders of industry. His close, special relationships with leading insurance carriers, including ones in London and continental Europe, enable him to offer coverages that are often difficult to obtain. Joseph’s passions include automobiles, art, and, especially, his wife and daughter.

Marc Schwarz - Senior Broker, Personal & Commercial Lines
As a Senior Broker for Personal and Commercial Lines, Marc joined Platinum1 in 2023. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School and graduated from California State University Northridge. Marc was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013 and has an extensive background in managing a high-volume law firm representing various insurance companies for 10 years. In 2022 and 2023, he was selected to Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, which recognizes the top 2.5% of attorneys in the field. Marc recognized his skills would be better utilized as an insurance broker after gaining extensive knowledge while representing insurance companies. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with his wife.

Jessica Daniels - Broker/Sr. Account Executive
Jessica’s life, from an early age, has revolved around the insurance world, as her father, Robert, started the agency and her brother Joe now leads the firm. As a personal and commercial lines broker, she offers a very high level of personal service and industry knowledge. Her sales and customer care expertise have made her extremely valuable in directly assisting the agency's high-end clients. Away from work, Jessica loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Paul Aguilar - Controller and Senior Underwriter
Starting in client services and then transitioning to carrier relations, Paul has over 20 years of experience with Platinum 1. With a keen eye for detail, he reviews policies and contracts to ensure the best fit for our clients. In this role he helps craft new solutions for the ever-changing market, on a daily basis. A graduate of Cal State Northridge, with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Paul enjoys running, attending concerts and watching sports during his off time.

Karlie Recinos - Sr. Account Executive
Specializing in account management and client relations for Commercial and Target Risk accounts, Karlie has an extensive history in sales and management, first in the Fitness industry and now with many years in Insurance. She is particularly skilled in helping clients relieve the daily stress of their everyday business operations, through her smooth handling of all key business-related incidentals. When out of the office, Karlie loves spending time with her husband, Arnold, and their baby boy AJ.

Jonah’s positive attitude, dedication to customer service and attention to detail have made him an excellent broker for all situations. He is known for bringing new perspectives and innovative ideas to the office. During his non-working hours, Jonah – a former Division 1 golfer for Bryant University – enjoys golf, music and finance, which he is currently studying.
